Capital Bill Passes!

The Illinois General Assembly took a huge step forward by passing the first comprehensive Capital Bill in Illinois in over a decade.

This will serve to fix hundreds of neglected infrastructure projects throughout the state as well as put thousands of people back to work on these projects.

We owe a sincere thank you to our lawmakers for doing the right thing for the state of Illinois and its people.

The Chicago Area Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust (LECET) is a joint labor-management trust comprised of the 20 local unions of the Construction and General Laborers' District Council of Chicago and Vicinity, its 16 signatory contractor associations, and its independent signatory contractors.
